Interviewee: Weather can affect public transportation, particularly when it’s been stormy and tree branches fall onto train tracks or when there is snow and ice on the roads. But since the weather is bad so often, the transportation department is normally really quick at salting the roads or sending teams to recover tree branches, so normally things flow quite smoothly.
